Hello everyone! Its been a while and lots of things have been happening here at the Open Shutter. We are back and refreshed from our trip to Phoenix, AZ for the PPA National Convention. We learned so much while we were there and are full of new ideas. We also enjoyed some beautiful weather down there - just about 70 everyday! It was a nice change from the blizzard we left in. :) Here are a few images from our trip...
We drove in 10 inches of snow to Detroit to catch our plane! Judy got us there all safe and sound, it was definately an adventure. :)
They had to de-ice the wings of the plane before we could even take off!
This was the view from our hotel balcony.
The day before we left we did some sightseeing around Phoenix. Half of us went to the zoo and the other half went to the botanical gardens. Both were alot of fun. :)

Later that night, we all decided to go back to the Phoenix Botanical Garden to see all of the glass blown sculptures lit up. Artist Dale Chihuly had exibit of all his glass work there, it was one of the neatest things we had seen. There were so many different colors and shapes and sizes of his work! One of the sculptures was 27 ft tall and completely made of glass!
All of us at the botanical garden!(L-R) Keri, Judy, Wendy, Jenifer, Chris
